ABOUT THE FIRM

Angell Molony

Kevin Molony and Aaron Angell assessed early in their practice of enforcing judgments that two things stood out.

The first was how often judgments go uncollected. The second was that no other law firm was positioned quite like Angell Molony to practice exclusively in collecting judgments on behalf of banks, businesses and individuals.

By  settling a large number of judgments into cash settlements over the past several years, we have grown into the go-to judgment collection law firm in South Carolina.  With these successes, Angell Molony has extended in scope and size-with collection efforts taking us everywhere from the Caribbean Islands clear across the nation into Washington State and everywhere in between.

As our satisfied bank clients happily refer our services to other banks; they often express surprise about our results and sharp ability to produce a cash recovery.

Ultimately, by focusing our detailed approach and precise methods unique to our firm, Angell Molony is able to serve the needs of our clients ahead of our own while striving to confirm what we believe and that is simply that we do things much differently than others.  The results speak for themselves and so do our clients.

Kevin N. Molony

Partner

Kevin grew up in Edgefield, SC before heading to Presbyterian College. While at PC, Kevin was a First-Team all-conference free safety for the football team. After graduating, Kevin attended the Charlotte School of Law.

While in law school, Kevin became instant friends with Aaron. During the summers in law school, Kevin clerked for the Solicitor’s Office in both Georgetown and Horry Counties.

After law school, Kevin began his legal career as a judicial clerk for The Honorable William P. Keesley. Kevin then joined the Second Circuit Solicitor’s Office as an assistant solicitor for Strom Thurmond, Jr. While at the Solicitor’s Office, Kevin tried a wide array of cases, including violent crime and drug-related matters.

After spending close to five years prosecuting criminal cases, Kevin hung his own shingle and began handling judgment collections cases. Since that time, he and his old pal, Aaron, have joined forces to focus primarily on tracking down judgment debtors and providing unmatched legal asset opinions to attorneys throughout the country.

When he isn’t playing “lawyer”, Kevin enjoys all things Gamecock related, playing golf, chasing white tails and mallards, playing baseball in the backyard with his boys, and jamming out on his guitar during Sunday morning worship services at Cedar Creek Church.  Kevin resides in Aiken, SC with his beautiful wife, Lauren, and their two sons, Colt and Brice.
